Mary Anne Hobbs has joined BBC Radio 6 Music. She will present the new weekend breakfast show on Saturdays and Sundays 7am – 10am from 5 January 2013. Mary previously worked for Radio 1, Xfm and on sound design for the Oscar-winning film Black Swan.

The Daily Mirror has launched a free five-day iPad app. The app will contain exact digital copies of the weekday papers with content from the Saturday paper and Sunday Mirror available to view on a 7-day app at a cost of £5 per month.
