As people are spending less time working at their desks and more time working on their phones, professionals are realizing that the usual arsenal of e-mail and Angry Birds isn’t necessarily enough to get the job done. In order to truly move into the mobile space, all of your business tools need to be accessible on a mobile platform.
We’ve been working on some new things at Cision, and one of them is a big update to our mobile site and Chrome extension. The new updates come from feedback that YOU gave us in our initial beta cycle. Here are the updates that we just rolled out to make your mobile life a little more productive.
While initially only a contact search tool, we heard you loud and clear and added fully searchable outlet details and metrics. The search bar allows you to toggle between a search for outlets or contacts.
All of the outlet information that you’ve come to love from our media database is now in the mobile site, including Twitter handles, email addresses, influencer ratings and more. Also with a touch of a button from your smartphone, you can call a contact or outlet directly.
See top contacts at an outlet
Along with seeing outlet information, wouldn’t it be great to also see the top influencers at that outlet? We thought so, and so did you. So we made the top influencers at each outlet only a click away. Simply find an outlet and click, “See Top Contacts” at the top of the screen. It’s an easy way to get in contact with influencers at outlets that you may have otherwise overlooked.
Ability to send Outlet or Contact details via email
Now, from your smartphone or the Chrome extension, you can send detailed contact and outlet information via email. Find an outlet or a contact and click “Share” to send that information via email to a colleague or to yourself for future reference. It’s a great way to share information on the go.
