Condé Nast has officially named Elaine Welteroth editor in chief of Teen Vogue, in charge of representing the brand’s editorial vision. Her promotion comes a year after Welteroth assumed co-leadership of the brand alongside digital editorial director Phillip Picardi and creative director Marie Suter. The team took place of Amy Astley, who left the magazine last May. Welteroth has been with Teen Vogue since 2012, when she joined the staff as beauty and health director. Prior to that, she was the senior beauty editor at Glamour and had also worked at Ebony as the beauty and style editor. Follow Teen Vogue on Twitter.
