Peter Granat
Chief Executive Officer
Peter Granat oversees our executive management team across operations globally.

For over 20 years, Granat has been instrumental in the development of innovative products and services to enable effective communication between the PR, marketing and media communities. He has worked closely with clients to deliver solutions that address a wide range of agency and corporate communications needs. Prior to his current role as Cision’s CEO, Granat served as CEO of Vocus and was Group CEO of Cision AB. Before that, he was senior vice president of sales and business development at MediaMap.

Granat holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Paul Salay
Chief Commercial Officer
Paul Salay serves as Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing Cision’s commercial operations. He drives the development and execution of Cision’s go-to-market strategies while expanding the company's position in the market.

Paul brings 20 years of general management experience leading firms across the market research industry. Prior to joining Cision, Paul served as President of Market Track, the leading competitive intelligence provider for promotions, advertising and pricing, and Group Vice President at Gartner, the technology industry’s premier IT Advisory firm.

He has led successful organizations by leveraging its most important asset, its people, to create innovative products, thought leadership in the industry and improving the client’s experience, satisfaction and level of engagement.

Paul earned his bachelor’s degree graduating with honors from Wittenberg University and an MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
Jack Pearlstein
Executive VP And Chief Financial Officer
With 20 years of financial, operational and strategic planning experience working with technology companies, Jack Pearlstein oversees our finance, accounting, legal, and HR and facilities functions.

Prior to Cision, Pearlstein was CFO of Six3 Systems, Inc., a leading provider of software development, sensor development and signal processing services to the intelligence community. As a CFO, Pearlstein has led three different companies through their initial public offerings: AppNet, DigitalNet and Solera.

Pearlstein is a CPA and received his Bachelor of Science in accounting from New York University. He also holds an MBA in finance from The George Washington University.
Maureen Calabrese
Chief People Officer
Maureen Calabrese joined Cision in 2012 and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources. She is responsible for leading people initiatives across all offices, including talent management, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, and organizational development.

Prior to Cision, Calabrese worked in marketing for General Mills before joining The Nielsen Company as part of the Client Service team focused on selling and supporting the Spectra software and service offerings. After being asked to take a leadership role in developing a Client Service training and development certification program, Calabrese joined and later led the Spectra HR team with a focus on organizational development. Following her time at Nielsen, Calabrese joined Ipsos as VP, Human Resources, where she a led a 10-person HR team providing strategic human capital support for three Ipsos divisions consisting of 1,500+ hourly and salaried employees located in the US, Canada and Romania.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
David Pearah
Chief Technology Officer
David Pearah joined Cision in 2013 and serves as the Chief Technology Officer, overseeing Product Management, Technology and IT operations for the U.S. business. His experience in lean product management and agile software development drives Cision’s commitment to product innovation.

Pearah most recently served as CTO and Senior Vice President of Product Management for Emmi Solutions, a healthcare enterprise software vendor in Chicago. During his tenure, the company launched an HTML5 mobile platform and was successfully acquired by private equity.

Prior to his position at Emmi Solutions, Pearah was SVP of the ePrescribe Business Unit for Allscripts, serving five years with the company in Chicago. He also formerly served as Director of Product Management, Healthcare Division at Nuance/Dictaphone and CTO of Boston-based startup PhoneRun.

Pearah holds dual master’s degrees in Technology Management and Policy and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a recipient of fellowships from the National Science Foundation, NASA and the Ford Foundation.
Geoff Alexander
President, iContact
Geoff Alexander oversees iContact’s day-to-day business operations, including strategic direction, revenue, sales, services and marketing.

Alexander has 20 years of experience in management, marketing, product strategy, revenue optimization and business development with a concentration in business-to-business online/software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications. Prior to Cision and iContact, he held key management positions at a variety of innovative technology companies ranging from venture-backed startups to the Fortune 500 list.

Alexander holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University. He is also a board member for the North Carolina Technology Association, and regularly advises early and mid-stage startups.
Jeremy Thompson
Managing Director, EMEA
Jeremy Thompson is Cision’s Managing Director for the company’s operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

In 2006, Thompson became Managing Director of Durrants and led his team through three acquisitions to create Gorkana Group, where he served as CEO from 2011 to 2014. Thompson began his career in publishing and held a number of roles across sales, marketing and product development before transitioning to the media monitoring sector in 2001.

Thompson is chairman of the industry trade association, AMEC (International Association for the Measurement & Evaluation of Communication), and has served on their board since 2009. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Classics from The University of Manchester.
