Kathy Lohr has left NPR, where she served as an Atlanta correspondent covering stories across the Southeastern U.S., and reported on abortion, political and legal issues. She was first to open NPR’s St. Louis office in 1990 and the Atlanta bureau in 1996. Also at NPR, Alice Fordham has joined as a Beirut correspondent.
