Lara Jakes Moves to Foreign Policy

National security reporter Lara Jakes has exited the Associated Press to join Foreign Policy as deputy managing editor. She was named a national security reporter at AP in November 2012. Prior to this, she was an Iraq correspondent for the news service based in Baghdad, Iraq since November 2009. Jakes will begin her new role at Foreign Policy in January.
