Tommy Craggs and Max Read have both resigned from Gawker Media in response to the mandated removal of a controversial story late last week by the firm’s managing partners. The move was condemned by the editorial staff, some of whom disagreed with the posts initial publication. Craggs served as executive editor of Gawker Media since Decemer 2014, and Read was editor in chief of Gawker, a position he was promoted to in March 2014.
