The Associated Press has tapped deputy Latin America editor Paul Haven as news director for Latin America and Caribbean; filling the role left by Marjorie J. Miller who was promoted last year. Haven will be based out of the Mexico City bureau and was deputy editor since 2013, after serving as the bureau chief in Havana for three years.
