Yahoo has laid off some of its top entertainment journalists last month as ongoing lay-offs of 15 percent of their workforce and the shuttering of various verticals. Among those let go are executive entertainment editor Josh Wolk, TV editor Dave Nemetz and movie reporter Meriah Doty. The entertainment division of the company has struggled since 2014, when Elle creative director Joe Zee was hired to renovate Yahoo’s Style vertical.
