Etienne joins the site as a contributing editor covering gadgets and new hardware. Kolodny will join the staff on March 21 as emerging technologies editor. She will focus on the cross section of food, education, fashion and transportation in the world of technology. She will also provide coverage of technology business models and the pace of startups in various tech-related industries. Hall-Geisler will write stories on the automotive and transportation industries as a contributing writer. Additionally, TechCrunch has also promoted Jay Donovan as staff writer.
