Slate has brought aboard Tommy Craggs as politics editor. He was most recently executive editor at Gawker, but resigned in July along with EIC Max Read amid controversy. Craggs previously served as editor in chief of Deadspin, and has also written for The New York Times Magazine and SF Weekly.
