Associate managing editor Ruth Henrich and life editor Kim Brooks have been laid off from Salon. Henrich had been at Salon since the late 90s and previously served as the managing editor and associate managing editor at Macworld. Before Brooks joined Salon in September 2015, she was a freelance writer and author. Her new novel The Houseguest was released this month.
