Fernando Gonzalez has been named deputy news director overseeing Latin America and the Caribbean for The Associated Press‘ Mexico City bureau. He previously served as the regional video editor for Latin America and the Caribbean in The Associated Press’ Washington, D.C. bureau for 2014 through 2016, and prior to that, served as a senior producer from The Associate Press’ Havana, Cuba bureau from 2003 to 2014.
