Rob Bricken Replaces Charlie Jane Anders at io9

Charlie Jane Anders stepped down as editor in chief at io9 and is replaced by senior editor Rob Bricken. Anders has been with io9 since its inception in 2008, filling a variety of editorial roles including news editor and managing editor before being named to the top spot in early 2015. Bricken joined the site in 2012 after working as editor of Topless Robot (now The Robot’s Voice). Follow io9 on Facebook and Twitter for coverage of science fiction, fantasy and futurism.
