Citing personal reasons, Newsday Media Group publisher Gordon McLeod recently stepped away from the post he has held since April 2014. In his nearly 25 years of experience, McLeod held a number of executive positions at media outlets, including four years as president of the Wall Street Journal Digital Network, three years as president of SI.com and Sports Illustrated photos, and vice president and general manager of Time Inc.’s Parenting.com and Parenting TV.
