Columbia Journalism Review, the magazine for journalists, has a new head honcho – Kyle Pope, who recently took over as editor and publisher. He’s made the rounds at several well-known New York City publications, most recently with Straus News, where he was editor in chief overseeing eight Manhattan weekly newspapers. He also has been an editor at the New York Observer and previously worked at The Wall Street Journal for a decade. Follow CJR on Twitter.
