Coleen O’Lear and Ben Pillow have been appointed to new roles on The Washington Post‘s emerging news products team. O’Lear replaces T.J. Ortenzi as editorial director, running day-to-day operations of the paper’s apps and digital products. She most recently worked as mobile innovations editor since 2015. Pillow will serve as deputy editorial director. He joined the team in May and has been on staff at the paper since 2011. Follow The Washington Post on Twitter.
