Doug Wilks Named Editor for Deseret News

Doug Wilks has been named editor of Deseret News. Wilks has been managing editor for Deseret News and KSL Broadcasting, which includes KSL-TV, KSL-FM, and KSL-AM for the last five years. He has spent more than 30 years in the news industry. Wilks replaces Paul Edwards who is stepping down as editor of Deseret News to serve as deputy chief of staff for policy and communications for Governor Gary Herbert. Edwards was with Deseret News since 2010 where he began as an editorial page editor. Follow Deseret News on Twitter.
