Politico, in preparations for a new presidential administration taking over the White House, has hired Eliana Johnson and moved Tara Palmeri back to Washington from Brussels. Johnson is joining Nov. 22 as a national political reporter covering the Republican party. She was previously Washington editor for National Review and a producer at Fox News Channel. Palmeri will cover the White House. Prior to joining Politico in 2015, she was a reporter for the New York Post and a columnist for the Washington Examiner. Follow Politico on Twitter.
