The Wall Street Journal has announced the promotion of two staffers at the paper’s Hong Kong Bureau:

  • Yun-Hee Kim has been named senior editor for live journalism, Asia and will manage the WSJ events and conference business, recruiting speakers, leading panel discussions and coordinating news coverage of the events. She was previously the Asia technology editor and joined WSJ in 2011. 
  • Andrew Peaple is the new deputy markets and finance editor for Asia, who will oversee enterprise reporting on finance, financial and stock markets. He will also run the regional team for Heard on the Street. Peaple was previously the Asia commodities editor and has been with WSJ since 2008.
