T: The New York Times Style Magazine has named Hanya Yanagihara editor in chief, effective immediately. She replaces Deborah Needleman, who left the publication at the end of 2016. This is a homecoming for Yanagihara, who had a one-year stint with the outlet as deputy editor and left that post in April 2016. She has also worked for Conde Nast Traveler, W, Departures, Radar, Town & Country, and is the author of the critically acclimated novel A Little Life. Follow T Magazine on Twitter.
