Marilyn W. Thompson joins The Washington Post as the Sunday national editor and deputy politics enterprise editor today, April 17. Thompson comes to WaPo from POLITICO, where she had served as the deputy editor since 2015. Prior to that she was the Washington, D.C.  bureau chief at Reuters for 3 years, and before that she was the news editor there. Follow The Washington Post on Twitter.
