Grocery Headquarters, the B2B magazine focusing on retail and wholesale food industry, has been acquired by Chicago-based Winsight LLC. The new owner vows a complete redesign of the print magazine, website and content strategy and have already hired two key staff to begin the overhaul:

  • Jeffrey Friedman has joined the magazine as executive vice president and will direct the overall brand. He comes from EnsembleIQ, where he served as the senior vice president since 2011.
  • Meg Major has joined GH as the director of content. She is a food industry veteran and most recently served as the chief content editor and editorial director for Progressive Grosser.
