CBS Television Network has announced the following changes to the leadership team for its entertainment division:

  • Thom Sherman has joined CBS as senior executive vice president for programming. He will oversee the CBS creative departments including comedy, drama, alternative, daytime, late night and specials, as well as current programming and casting. Sherman comes from the CW, where he most recently served as the executive vice president.
  • Kelly Kahl has been promoted to president of CBS Entertainment. He was previously the Senior Executive Vice President for CBS Primetime and has been with the network since 1996.
