CisionScoop: Carla K. Johnson of the Associated Press has moved from the Chicago bureau to the Seattle bureau. She continues to cover national stories about the health care system, medical research and the opioid crisis. She started with the AP in 2005, and prior to that she worked as a staff writer for the Spokesman-Review in Spokane, Washington.

CisionScoop: Bloomberg News is parting ways with Paris based finance editor, David Whitehouse. He will be joining the automotive plastic parts manufacturer Novares Group as their press relations and communications manager at the end of the month. Prior to starting with Bloomberg in 2000, he worked as a copy editor for the Bridge News and the Economist Intelligence Unit.

Tony Romm is joining The Washington Post on Feb. 20 as technology policy reporter; he will cover how tech companies such as Apple and Facebook respond to government regulations and policy. He joins WaPo from Recode, where he was senior editor of policy and politics.

Politico’s policy news service, Politico Pro, hired Liz Crampton as an agricultural policy reporter. She joined the news service after serving as a reporter for Bloomberg BNA, where she covered antitrust and competition policy.

Erin Gloria Ryan is leaving the  Daily Beast to join The Gang as a writer for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. She has served as senior editor for the Daily Beast since 2016, and previously worked for Jezebel where she held several positions, including staff writer and managing editor.

MAKERS, Yahoo Finance, and the CEO of Ellevest, Sallie Krawcheck, have teamed up to launch MAKERS Money, a weekly online show intended to encourage women to invest. Krawcheck will be the host and it will feature financial advice from top women in the field.

Siobhan O’Connor has joined Medium as the Vice President of Editorial. She previously spent four years at Time magazine, most recently as executive editor. Prior to that, she was the executive editor of Prevention.

Spectrum News NY1 welcomes a new investigative reporter, Lydia Hu. She comes from WBRC-TV in Birmingham, Alabama, where she served as a weekend anchor and investigative reporter.

Paula Seligson has been hired as a reporter for Debtwire. She will be covering high yield bonds. Previously she was an intern for Reuters National Affairs team and an intern for CBS News’s investigative unit. h/t Talking Biz News

WGN-TV in Chicago has named Joe Donlon evening anchor of the station. He replaces longtime anchor Mark Suppelsa, who retired in December 2017. Donlon is a veteran journalist and anchor, who spent the 21 years at  KGW-TV in Portland, Oregon. Prior to that, he worked at KVOA-TV in Tuscon, Arizona.
