CisionScoop: Entertainment Weekly prepares to bid farewell to Carla Sosenko. Sosenko ends her tenure as executive editor on April 6, and will pursue freelance opportunities covering the entertainment industry and celebrities. Prior to joining EW, she was the editor in chief for Time Out New York and was the managing editor for In Touch Weekly.

CisionScoop: Evan Wagstaff has departed from the Los Angeles Times and has joined the San Francisco Chronicle as a digital producer. Wagstaff served initially as web producer for the Los Angeles Times and was later promoted to digital editor.

CisionScoop: Slate welcomed T.J. Raphael as senior producer on the podcast team. Prior to joining the outlet, she was digital content editor for The Takeaway on WNYC Radio, and had previous stints as a reporter for and the New York Daily News.

CNN has announced a couple of promotions at its Washington bureau. Jedd Rosche has been named senior Congress editor after serving as Congress editor and breaking news editor. Rebekah Metzler has been upped to senior White House editor after being White House editor since 2017.

Amanda Hess is becoming a critic-at-large for the Culture section at The New York Times after completing the David Carr fellowship. Hess has worked as staff writer for Slate, lifestyle editor for GOOD Magazine and a columnist for the Washington City Paper.

John Moody has retired from FOX News Channel. Moody was an executive vice president and executive editor and had been with the organization since 1996.

Sara Merken has been named a reporter for Bloomberg Law, part of Bloomberg BNA, covering privacy and data security. She previously covered energy, water and environmental policy for BNA. h/t Talking Biz News

The Associated Press has appointed Adam Schreck news director overseeing coverage of the Asia-Pacific region out of its Bangkok bureau. A seasoned journalist for the AP, Schreck has previously served as news director for the Gulf region, as well as the Baghdad bureau chief.

Eugene Ramirez has left WFOR-TV after a year as morning anchor at the CBS affiliate in Miami. He has been appointed as director of communications for the city of Miami.

The Burlington Free Press in Vermont has named Michael Kilian as executive editor. Killian had most recently been the news director for the Cincinnati Enquirer and prior to that was the executive editor for The Daily Times in Salisbury, Maryland.
