Julia Chatterley is departing Bloomberg and joining CNN to host a new program on CNN International this fall. She was the host of the daily Bloomberg Markets and What’d You Miss? shows, covering global politics, business and breaking news. She has also covered global markets and breaking business news for CNBC International, as well as Eurogroup and EU leaders summits, ECB, G20, G7 and NATO meetings.
The Kansas City Star has added Lynn Worthy as reporter covering the Kansas City Chiefs. He joins the paper following a turn at the Salt Lake Tribune as a University of Utah athletics football writer. Before that, he has reported on all thing sports for The Morning Call, Press & Sun Bulletin, and The Lowell Sun.
Marina Khidekel has joined Arianna Huffington's Thrive Global startup as editorial director. She comes to Thrive Global from Women's Health, where she was a senior deputy editor. Prior to that, Khidekel was deputy editor for features at Cosmopolitian, and a senior editor at Glamour. Thrive Global covers self-help, wellness advice and lifestyle, and aims to help readers reconnect with themselves and learn techniques for maintaining balance in order to live their best life.
NRG Media has bid farewell to Jack Taddeo, market manager of NRG Media's Iowa stations KFMW-FM, KOKZ-FM, KXEL-AM and KPTY-AM; his last day was July 17. He has been with the company since 2015, and prior to that spent four years at Matrix LLC in Chicago as general manager.
Scott Ellis, program director and midday on-air personality at KSPW-FM in Sparta, Missouri is leaving the station on July 30. He has been with the station since 2007, and previously worked as on-air personality for Max Media Broadcasting.
The Tampa Bay Business Journal has named Veronica Brezina reporter covering airports, the port, tourism and healthcare in the Tampa Bay region. She was previously an economic development reporter for Orlando Business Journal. Before that she spent two years at Central Florida Future as digital producer.
Replacing Veronica Brezina at Orlando Business Journal is Ryan Lynch, who was hired as staff writer covering economic development, transportation and hospitals in the region. He was previously a freelancer for South Florida Gay News, and has also written for Debt.com
After 32 years on air, WHYY-FM's Voices in the Family, the Philadelphia radio show discussing mental health and well being, has come to an end. Host Dr. Dan Gotlieb has decided not renew his contract which expires in July. During his broadcasts, he addressed recent developments in the fields of psychology and sociology and brought his unique talents as a psychotherapist and radio professional to each interview and each caller.
