Elizabeth Prann, a previous production assistant and anchor at Fox News, transitioned to anchor at CNN's On the Story. The CNN - HLN show features the biggest news events and stories from the day, and is anchored by a rotating group, now including Prann. 

POLITICO Pro, the online magazine geared towards political and policy professionals, welcomes experienced national security reporter, Dave Brown as deputy defense editor. He was previously a senior editor for the Washington Examiner, as well as managing editor for Defense News and Navy Times. 

After a decade in Asia, correspondent Emily Rauhala returns to The Washington Post headquarters in Washington, D.C. as a foreign affairs reporter. She will be splitting her time between international news, with a focus on Canada, China and Southeast Asia. Rauhala came to WaPo in 2015 from Time Magazine, where she was an associate editor in Hong Kong, and a correspondent in Beijing. 

ABC NewsOne in Washington, D.C. has tapped Elizabeth Hagedorn as a freelance correspondent, covering general news and current affairs. Most recently, Hagedorn was an international correspondent and producer at Until 2016, she was the supervising editor for

Zoe Sagalow has been brought on as a reporter to cover insurance and state insurance regulation for CQ Roll Call Daily Briefing. Her stories will be featured in the legal and regulatory product, CQ Legal. Sagalow was previously a federal tax and data reporter for Tax Analyst. h/t Talking Biz News

The Motley Fool has hired Corinne Jurney as an editor and analyst. She comes from The Capitol Forum, where she was a consumer protection correspondent. Prior to that, she was at Forbes, first as a Producer, then as a senior producer of investing. The Motley Fool offers investment news and information for novice and experienced investors. Business editor, Cynthia Littleton, has expanded her coverage at Variety to include both business and television. Based in New York, Littleton will lead coverage of media and entertainment at the corporate level, in addition to mergers, acquisitions, and earnings. TC Newman returns to her home state to join TEGNA owned KXTV-TV in Sacramento, CA. She joins as the 4pm weekday news anchor. She moved from Zazoom Media in New York City, where she was a video journalist.

Sarkes Tarzian Inc. owned station, WTTS-FM in Bloomington, IN, has recently made a few staff changes. This includes the appointment of Amber Hoback to music director and mid-day host of the station. She is currently the program director and mid-day host for KRSH-FM in Santa Rosa, CA. She starts her new position Dec. 3. This closely follows the promotion of Laura Duncan to program director and PM on air personality.
