She was most recently on the news desk covering breaking news for the web and the radio. Domonoske has been with NPR since 2013, when she joined the staff as editorial assistant.
NBC News's Chicago bureau has hired Molly Hunter as a correspondent. She comes from ABC News, where she spent eight years in various positions, including reporter, producer and foreign desk editor. Before that, she was a Jeffrey Owen Jones journalism fellow, and spent time reporting from the Middle East.
Kibkabe Araya is the new in-house desk editor at ALM Media, managing news coverage of the in-house counsel community for Law.com and Corporate Counsel magazine. Prior to ALM, she was the special projects editor at the Daily Journal, a California-based legal news provider, overseeing monthly supplements and corporate law content. She has also contributed to The Sacramento Bee, Sacramento Business Journal and Comstock’s.
Reuters veteran Hilary Russ has joined the media-tech team in New York as a reporter covering the intersection of sports business, media and esports. She will write about how big tech disrupts the world of sports media. Over the last seven years, Russ has served as a municipal bonds and public finance reporter, and has landed scoops on Atlantic City’s fiscal disaster and its impact on New Jersey taxpayers and the state. She has also broken news on infrastructure and public pensions.
Alex Wittenberg, a reporter at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, now covers technology, medical technology, healthcare, venture capital and startups.She most recently covered residential real estate, homebuilding, manufacturing, advertising and public relations firms, and diversity in business, and has been with the Journal since September 2018.
Martha Stewart Weddings has hired Lauren Pardee as an associate digital editor. She has been with Meredith Corporation since 2017, and most recently served as digital editorial assistant for Parents.com and FitPregnancy.com. She has also contributed to Rachaelraymag.com and BHG.com.
Teresa Rodriguez has joined the Morris Media Network travel division as San Francisco editor in chief. She plans and creates editorial content for both print and digital for Where magazine, Epicure, Wine Country, and San Francisco Guest Book. Before that Rodriguez held editor positions at Haute Living magazine and Nob Hill Gazette. She has also authored FLY SOLO: The 50 Best Places on Earth for a Girl to Travel Alone, and Body, Mind, & Solo: 7 Keys to Conquering the World Alone.
WPEC-TV, the CBS-affiliated station in West Palm Beach, Florida, has welcomed back Ashley Glass as weekday morning anchor. She replaces Suzanne Boyd, and can be seen on-air from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Glass previously spent eight years at WFTS-TV in Tampa, Florida.
Chris Cantore has officially joined KFMB-FM in San Diego as AM drive time on-air personality. He has been filling-in as morning host in the last several months. Prior to that, Cantore has worked at XETRA-FM, KPRI and KBZT, and has also spent two years at the San Diego Union-Tribune as director of lifestyle and entertainment.
NBC-owned KGW-TV in Portland, Oregon, will welcome Morgan Boydston as an investigative reporter Feb. 15. She is currently an investigative and general assignment reporter/anchor at KTVB-TV in Boise, Idaho, and has been with the station since 2015. Prior to that, she worked for KETK News in Longview, Texas.
