The New York Times has tapped Shawn Hubler to become a California correspondent based in Sacramento. She comes from serving as the deputy editor for CALmatters for the past two years. Previously, she had been the deputy editorial page editor for the Sacramento Bee, and before that served as a contributing lifestyle editor for Orange Coast Magazine. Hubler had also spent more than 17 years at the Los Angeles Times as a staff writer and magazine writer. She is set to begin her new role in mid-April.
- Rella Riviera and Kris 'Steezy' Ancheta have joined the station as hosts of the show. Riviera comes from a long standing of multiple radio stations including KHJZ-FM, KDDN-FM, and and KRTR-FM. Ancheta has previously hosted evenings for Hawaii's KDDB-FM.
- Pu'unui Wong moves to host the 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. weekday slot. Pu'nui got his start in the radio industry in 2003 beginning as an on air personality.
- Crystal Arkana moves to the afternoon slot and will host the "Afternoon Hi With Crystal Arkana" weekday program that hits the airwaves during the 2 p.m. - 7 p.m. timeslot. Arkana first appeared on the radio airwaves in 2004 with the 'Lanai & Angie' show.
- Rounding out the on-air schedule changes is Jovan Ladao, better known by his on-air name as 'Phat Joe' who moves to hosting nights. He got his start in radio in 1998 as an intern, and joined KQMQ-FM in 2014.
