Media Moves US,
The Nashville Business Journal has hired Drew Hutchinson as a reporter covering commercial real estate. She was most recently a consumer news intern and radio contributor for Bloomberg News and reported on consumer-facing issues in the restaurant and food industries. Prior to that, Hutchinson was a producer/host of "Business Intelligence Report" on KGOU public radio and an Iowa caucuses reporter for Gaylord News in Des Moines, Iowa.
Katrina Lewis is now equities reporter at Bloomberg News and covers equities with a focus on technology, media and telecom companies. She was most recently a rotating reporter for the news service and joined the staff in 2019 as a corporate finance news intern. Lewis has also previously interned at the Boston Business Journal.
Carolina A. Miranda has been appointed arts and urban design columnist for the Los Angeles Times. She will cover art, architecture, urban development and design, with a particular focus on equity, access, and the lived experience of Los Angeles for all of its residents. Miranda will continue to write occasional features and interviews, keeping an eye throughout on who gets arts and architecture commissions and what gets made. She has been with the paper since 2014.
The Washington Post has hired Andrea Salcedo as a writer on Morning Mix. She spent the past year as a reporting fellow with The New York Times metro desk, where she covered breaking news and features, as well as the coronavirus pandemic on the healthcare team. Salcedo has also previously interned with the Chicago Sun-Times and CNN en Español.
CBS News Radio will welcome Jennifer Keiper Nov. 9 as national news anchor. She has been an anchor/reporter for WBBM-AM in Chicago since March 2019 and before that hosted "DriveChicago" on WLS-AM 890. She spent five years at WLS-AM, where she produced, wrote, edited, and delivered newscasts every half hour during afternoon drive. Prior to that, Keiper worked for Fox News Radio as Midwest correspondent.
Christina Bennett has joined KTTV-TV, the Fox affiliate in Los Angeles, as a producer. She comes from KRON-TV in San Francisco where she has been on staff since 2013, most recently as executive producer of the of 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. shows. Prior to that, Bennett worked for California State University, Northridge.
KSAZ-TV, the Fox station in Phoenix, Arizona, has hired Irene Snyder as a reporter. She comes from WFMZ-TV in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where she spent two years as a general assignment reporter. Prior to that, Snyder worked for Lancaster Online as a multimedia journalist.
Lauren Martinez is the new weekend evening anchor at KVVU-TV, the Fox affiliate in Las Vegas. She was previously with KGO-TV in San Francisco where she was a reporter. Before that, Martinez worked as an evening anchor of the 5, 10 and 11 p.m. weeknight newscasts at Action News Now.
