Forbes has promoted Alex Wood to managing director for Europe. He is based in the London bureau and most recently served as the Europe editor for almost three years. Wood joined Forbes in 2018 after the company acquired The Memo, as startup which he founded in 2015. He has also previously served as the editor in chief for Tech City News and a producer at Bloomberg LP.

Savana Dunning has joined the Newport Daily News as a reporter covering business and economic development. She was most recently an intern at the Austin Monitor and prior to that completed an internship at the Houston Chronicle.  The Newport Daily News is a daily newspaper serving Newport County, Rhode Island. 

The Washington Post has hired Clyde McGrady as a general assignment reporter on the Features desk. He will cover race and identity. McGrady was most recently a writer for the Heard on the Hill section of Roll Call, where he has covered the personal side of Congressional politics.

Nikita Stewart has been promoted to assistant editor at The New York Times. She spent the past six years as a Metro reporter and wrote about homelessness, mental health and poverty. She joined the staff in 2014. Prior to that, Stewart spent nine years as a staff writer at The Washington Post.

CNN Underscored, the e-commerce guide offering curated listings of online shopping deals and available products, has welcomed Kiana Murden as an associate lifestyle editor covering beauty, fashion, health and home. She was most recently a commerce producer at Dotash and before that has freelanced for Allure, Byrdie, and The Spurce Eats. She also previously interned at CNN Underscored.

Cadillak Jack (Tom Kapsalis) has added assistant brand manager responsibilities to his role at WITL-FM (100.7) in Lansing, Michigan. He joined the station as a morning show host in September 2020 and before that worked for WYCD-FM in Detroit. Prior to that, Jack was an ADP at WQYK-FM in Tampa, Florida.

WXYT-FM (7.1 The Ticket) sports radio in Detroit has hired former NFL offensive lineman Jon Jansen as a morning host. He is filling the slot held by the late Jamie Samuelsen. Jansen joins Mike Stone and Heather Parks on the newly launched “Stoney and Jansen” show which made its debut Oct. 5. He has co-hosted the station’s Sunday NFL pregame show and guest co-host from WXYT-FM since 2017.

Dan Arthur is now assistant program director, music director and on-air personality at Air1 Radio Network. He has been with Aair1 since 2018 and has hosted the morning drive alongside his wife Michelle. Arthur. Prior to that, he spent six years at KYMX-FM in Sacramento, California.
