This particular role will primarily support incentive management (think sales commissions). By understanding where the business is heading and how we plan to get there, our goal is to establishing the right incentives for our sales reps to help us get there. This includes designing compensation programs, goal setting, and processing of monthly/quarterly/annual commissions. There is also a lot of room for improvement in our existing processes, so this analyst will be expected to help lead these improvements.

You'll help us with:

  • Analyze and assess accuracy of sales reports.
  • Evaluate and classify sales data.
  • Define commissions on basis of transaction analyses.
  • Provide solutions for ad hoc requests.
  • Assimilate, Analyze and maintain records of sales and commission data through various sources.
  • Collaborate with sales team on managing deals and resolving commission-related issues.
  • Interact with funding departments on personnel and appraisal-related issues.
  • Command superior knowledge of all project related data and sustain records of the same.
  • Maintain accurate periodic records of commissions.
  • Summarize and submit commission data for supervision.
  • Diagnose variations in prices and data and make necessary amendments.
  • Evaluate commission guidelines periodically and suggest improvement measures.

You'll be a good fit if you have:

  • 2+ years of experience in compensation/commissions analysis 
  • Demonstrated experience working with Excel macros and VBA 
  • Demonstrated experience working with internal stakeholders (not just your team/boss) to help you better understand how the business works and how to move your own projects along most effectively 
  • Data visualization experience (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Domo...) is useful, as is any upstream data work (e.g., SQL) 
  • Salesforce experience is also useful, as that’s where most of our data lives 
  • Finally, bonus points if you have familiarity with any incentive management software platforms
