As a Business Development manager your role will be prospecting new clients and dealing with incoming enquires. You will be speaking to new prospects to identify solutions to fit their current and future needs. You will become the go to person as a subject  expert and have a can-do attitude.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Identify and proactively call on new business prospects;
  • Work with the Marketing Campaign Manager on targeted prospect outbound calling campaigns;
  • Receive incoming enquiries and convert into online demonstrations and sales
  • Proactively self-source leads via cold calling
  • Hit daily activity KPIs based on outbound activity
  • Become a subject matter expert in the Cision suite of services;
  • Conduct effective online demonstrations of our service
  • Build a pipeline (5x your monthly target);
  • Ensure good communication with the Mid Market Customer Service Executives to ensure the smooth set up of new business orders
  • Input and maintain accurate activity information in Salesforce and Kluster
  • Report on activity and results daily, weekly and monthly.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of selling SaaS solutions
  • Ability to sell in a B2B environment
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to build great relationships
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Ability to build and give an effective online presentation of our services
  • Has a proven track record of outbound sales activity
