About the role:

As a Director of Product Management, you'll be responsible for managing the product managers and driving our strategy within Falcon’s Customer Engagement domain. Customer Engagement at Falcon is all about helping our customers monitor and engage with conversations on social media and private messaging. We help our customers collaborate, apply automation and measure their performance at scale to deliver excellent customer service. 

To achieve your goals, you'll be responsible for managing and building a great product team, including recruiting, hiring, coaching, and developing the team members. You will be part of our Product Leadership team to align with Product Directors of the other domains and report into the VP of Product. 

This is a role for a strategic thinker and strong leader who can communicate clearly and rally the company behind our vision. You will distill the overall product vision into a product strategy and coach the teams to build impactful roadmaps. You must be good at thinking big as well as motivating and growing the teams and apply processes for best practices that promote both analytical and creative thinking.  

You'll be working closely with stakeholders from design, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success. All the way from prioritization, discovery, development, release, and beyond to ensure we deliver the impact we planned for.

About the team: 

Our R&D team is split between Copenhagen, Budapest, Sofia and Chennai. We work in cross-functional agile product teams. We value our process and care strongly about delivering outcome over output. We also value having fun, in the office on our rooftop or at the ping pong table, or online on Zoom. 

In this role, you will:

  • Evolve the vision and product strategy for the Customer Engagement domain 
  • Partner closely with leaders from Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales and Customer Success 
  • Manage and develop the Product Managers within the Customer Engagement domain 
  • Be a customer advocate – gain deep understanding of their needs through both qualitative and quantitative measures by regularly meeting with customers  
  • Be an evangelist of the product by advocating for its value internally and externally 
  • Understand product analytics and set measurable goals for the teams 
  • Continue to evolve our processes around product discovery and delivery, and guide our teams to adopt those 
  • Monitor the competitive landscape together with Product Marketing to ensure we remain well positioned

We are looking for people with:

  • Experience in successfully developing, managing, and launching B2B SaaS products 
  • Strong people leadership principles and a passion for developing others 
  • Deep empathy for users, while understanding the needs of the buyers 
  • Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data and user research to inform product decisions 
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills 
  • Deep knowledge of product processes like Agile, Lean UX, product discovery and product design 
  • Experience building customer engagement or customer service products is preferred
