The Facilities Manager will manage and oversee all operations of the organization's facilities management function across North America. This role will report to Head of Global Facilities and act as the direct supervisor of all Office Management personnel. 

Essential Functions

  • Oversee Facilities team in North America across multiple offices & locations, inclusive of staff management strategy, skill development, and fiscal budgetary responsibilities
  • Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management
  • Develops and implements policies governing facility maintenance and repair, space planning and utilization, and design and construction
  • Ensures continued operational health of systems or equipment via scheduled maintenance and as needed repair
  • Plans and oversees physical moves. Solicits bids, selects contractors/subcontractors, and negotiates bids for the renovation or construction of facilities
  • Conducts space planning or modifies building/equipment layouts in response to changing organizational needs


  • Ability to lead and work as part of a team 
  • High level of oral and written communication skills, ability to present to executive leadership and summarize technical/financial content. 
  • Ability to grasp & communicate technical knowledge  
  • Project management skills, resource planning, & space design skills 
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university 
  • 10+ years of experience in relevant areas or management experience 
  • Recommended but not required: Certified Facilities Manager, Facilities Management Professional, or other certifications of similar nature
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time across various locations in North America. Global travel outside of North America could be possible
