As a HR Business Partner, you will partner with assigned business areas in both a strategic and hands-on role to provide full cycle HR support. A true HR Generalist you will be confident with identifying the organisational and people priorities, adopting a responsive and solution focused approach and delivering best practice, commercial HR solutions you will establish yourself as a trusted advisor within the business. This role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.
You will partner with managers on all their people related matters, including employee relations, culture and engagement, internal communication, organisation design, performance management and talent development. You will also work with the Director, HR UK & UAE on the delivery of global companywide HR strategic initiatives and priorities.
What are we looking for?
Develop strong relationships with supported business functions and partner with internal stakeholders to drive the people and business agenda.
Build and manage relations with all internal and external stakeholders to provide a proactive exceptional customer experience, ensuring a positive image and awareness of the company is promoted at all times.
Support HR policy design and updates to ensure that we deliver on current and forthcoming legislation changes.
Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence including D&I, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, etc. to leverage expertise, systems, and processes in support of business needs.
Drive and support year-round talent management processes, including performance appraisals, talent reviews, development plans, succession planning, and employee engagement.
Clarify resource requirements for the client groups and engaging and where appropriate the Talent Acquisition team to deliver against these needs.
Identify and support the delivery of talent/training interventions for employees and managers on HR topics as needed.
Look for opportunities to improve internal processes / service and work with the appropriate people to implement these changes.
Support the development of the on-boarding process including delivering local inductions
Analyse key HR metrics, identify areas of opportunity, and assist in develop related action plans.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Help to conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Provide trusted one to one guidance and coaching to employees and managers on all HR matters.
Be a champion of change, culture, and the values of Cision. Play a leading role in supporting social and cultural initiatives in the London office.
Essential Skills and Experience
CIPD qualification or ability to demonstrate relevant on-the-job experience.
Previous experience as a Business Partner in an international fast paced/matrix environment.
Able to demonstrate ability to work autonomously, flexibly, and collaboratively with a “can do” attitude
Ability to handle multiple projects at once, manage changing priorities and embrace agility, while conveying calm and confidence
Effective interpersonal and communication skills which convey honesty, confidence, and the ability to influence others in a poised and effective manner, both written and verbally.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Able to think creatively and work on your own initiative.
Detailed knowledge (from the concept to implementing to maintaining) of all aspects of Human Resource management, in particular areas of employee relations and employment law, performance management and HR projects.
Strong understanding of HR policy, process, and employment legislation.
Experience of design and delivery of successful change programmes & TUPE.
Proven stakeholder management skills; able to successfully influence multiple stakeholders and delivery a high level of customer service.
Exceptional listening skills and ability to handle challenging situations.
Strong customer facing and presentation skills.
High level of strategic and operational agility.
Team player willing to support others with heavy workloads.
Proactive, with a willingness to learn and become involved in non-core task.
Tact and discretion - the ability to work within the boundaries of confidentiality.
Proficient in MS Office and experience in relevant HRIS (UltiPro, LearnUpon, Lever, Culture Amp and ADP preferred)
