Inbound Marketing Manager

The Inbound Demand Manager is responsible for creating inbound demand generation by managing paid and organic search engine marketing and other key advertising platforms as well as conversion optimization strategies to ensure campaign delivery, optimization and reporting in support of the Cision lines of business.  

Key Activities:

  • Own inbound search paid and organic search engine marketing working with external vendors to hit aggressive inbound targets supporting the business.  
  • Execute digital marketing campaigns across key platforms like Capterra, Linkedin, Facebook and more.   
  • Focus on conversion optimization strategies, leveraging best practices and constantly testing ways to improve conversion rates.  
  • Work with digital marketing vendors to manage programs, drive constant optimizations and meet KPIs.  
  • Partner with the outbound demand generation manager to coordinate nurturing programs for inbound leads.  
  • Collaborate with content team to drive content marketing strategies, providing insights on performance and highlighting areas of opportunity.  
  • Work closely with the team business analyst to develop reporting on key demand gen KPIs, track progress vs goals, and ensure we have strong insights into performance and trends. 

Competencies:

  • Minimum of 6 years experience in B2B marketing and inbound demand generation 
  • Extensive knowledge of Google AdWords,  Bing Ads, Facebook and Linkedin. 
  • Experience with systems like Eloqua, Salesforce, Drift and Google Analytics 
  • Experience working with teams in fast environment 
  • Proven demand gen leader and strategist. You have a track record of hitting aggressive growth goals leveraging a diverse set of channels and tactics. 
  • Excellent communicator and cross-functional partner. You are great at building relationships, connecting the dots between different teams, and keeping everyone on the same page with clear and regular communication. 
  • Highly data-driven and technically fluent marketer. You’re highly effective at leveraging data to improve decision making and have experience with various tools and technology within the marketing tech stack to maximize impact. 
  • Strong sense of ownership and operational rigor. You’re excited about being responsible for hitting big targets and know how to create and execute on a plan to make it happen.
