This job is responsible to drive the company’s strategy and revenue growth by providing leadership, direction and support of Cision’s suite of products and platforms for clients. This job proactively collaborates with clients and internal stakeholders to plan and guide the strategy, roadmap, and features in alignment to address clients’ strategic goals and initiatives.
Works with the Product Management team in driving product life cycle inclusive of but not limited to ideation, concepting, design guidance, development planning and oversight, documentation, launch and go-to-market coordination, expertise support, monitoring of product usage and adoption, and continued evaluation of enhancements.
Collaborates and partners with colleagues and internal stakeholders to communicate product strategy and positioning strategies and drives revenue growth to Sales, Marketing and clients to achieve revenue, profit, customer satisfaction and retention goals.
Understands Cision’s evolving product and technology developments and proactively monitors and conducts research to perform in-depth analysis on market trends, competitor product strategy, and industry best practices to enhance overall product value and user experience.
Assumes a Subject Matter Expert role and spearheads all activities related to translating the company’s high-level vision and goals into product strategy, prioritizing features, building consensus, and coordinating product schedules and release dates to deliver on strategy.
Disseminates analytics and provides robust, meaningful data to assist with senior leadership to make sound business and strategic decisions.
Conducts client outreaches and represents the company to solicit feedback and gain a deep understanding of the overall client experience, identify product, platform and services gaps, and generate innovative strategies to increase market share, improve client experience and drive growth.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Product Management or related fields building expertise in such areas as technology/SaaS is desired.
In-depth knowledge of product development and management strategies.
Ability to effectively communicate recommendations to all levels of management including C-Suite level.
Working knowledge and proven track record of success with SaaS sales and/or cloud methodology is a strong asset.
Working knowledge and exposure in Public Relations, Social Media, and Investor’s Relations practices and needs.
Working knowledge of the Agile development process with proven ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.
Advanced ability to build relationships, persuade and influence clients, leaders and stakeholders. Advanced listening and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, a consensus and relationship builder with a collaborative leadership style.
Advanced analytical skills including negotiation and conflict resolution. Critical, strategic thinker with ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity.
Advanced creative problem-solving skills with expertise to find or create innovative solutions.
Advanced time management, attention to detail and organization skills. Adaptable and flexible with an ability to respond to changing work priorities, pressures and demands.
Stays abreast of the latest PR and IR methodologies, platforms tools, best practices and processes in the industry / marketplace.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
In-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite is preferred, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of web conferencing tools like Zoom.
