The Cision Sr. Project Manager, Marketing will serve as the glue that supports the efficient and successful execution of marketing programs across lead generation and nurture, retention, product marketing, events and content. You specialize in planning, managing and executing projects related to marketing campaigns. You are responsible for turning a functional leader’s vision into reality. As the Project Manager, you will identify all the tasks that need to be completed and then strategically delegate those tasks to members of the marketing team and cross-functional partners. 

Ideal candidate is able to navigate the details as well as engage in big picture discussions with senior leadership in sales and marketing. You are process-driven and highly organized. You thrive in a team-based environment and are comfortable working and able to influence cross-functionally with partners in sales, product, finance, risk and others.  

You'll help us with:

  • Partner with marketing leadership team on strategic marketing strategy, help drive prioritization and mapping of tasks to implement strategy
  • Create project budgets and timelines; plan, manage and execute from beginning to end
  • Work with essential stakeholders and gain alignment on deadlines, budgets, objectives, etc.
  • Conduct risk analyses, identifying and communicating potential roadblocks
  • Ensure all assets are on-brand and aligned with the business strategy
  • Develop, maintain and update project management infrastructure and documentation
  • Use a data-first approach to measure success. Establish reporting and analytics and proactively provide opportunities to assist and enhance marketing and sales performance. 

You'll be a good fit if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in marketing or business preferred; Project Management coursework a plus
  • 3-5 years of project management experience, including marketing-focused projects
  • Marketing experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of project management processes, workflow and terminology
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization; thorough and able to multi-task
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, paired with analytical problem solving and decision-making
  • Highly-focused and motivated with a positive, enthusiastic attitude -
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Exceptional independent problem-solving skills and willingness to proactively seek out information
  • Able to craft and maintain strong professional relationships with internal teams, suppliers and vendors. Demonstrated ability to influence.
