The primary responsibility of the Senior Data Analyst is to ensure the delivery of complete and accurate evaluation data to client service teams. This is done by overseeing this process directly on our largest enterprise accounts and/or ensuring the quality of work delivered by Data Analysts across the department through support, coaching, performance management and mentorship.  The secondary responsibility of our Senior Data Analysts is to play a key role in driving process improvement within the department through leading and supporting on activities such as: Coder Audits, Platform Migrations, Departmental Training,
Senior Data Analysts will be the platform champions within the Insights department, having a deep knowledge of our platforms & processes. Senior Data Analysts will use this knowledge to support key activities on accounts, including more complex analysis, audits of at risk accounts, department training and helping to lead on platform migrations.
The Senior Data Analyst role requires collaboration with other teams and stakeholders across the business.  Therefore, Senior Data Analysts will need to be strong collaborative workers, with great communication skills both written and verbal.


What are we looking for?

  • Data Quality & Data Analyst Support, Coaching and Development
  • o    Oversee the data analysis workflow across the department’s high-profile accounts
  • o    Support, coach, and guide the team of 17 Wipro DAs to ensure operational efficiency
  • o    Ensure that the coding and data analysis services provided by the vendors perform in accordance with the department’s KPIs
  • o    Ensure the high quality and on-time delivery of analysis data across all the accounts within a specific sector
  • o    Audit accounts on a monthly basis with a particular focus on accounts that are at risk or close to renewal
  • o    Act as coaches & mentors for Wipro DA team, identify areas for development through set objectives and performance reviews.
  • o    Play an active role in the screening, recruitment, and accreditation of new DAs
  • o    Ensure the comprehensive documentation of the DA tasks and performance metrics
  • Departmental Process Optimization & Improvement
  • o    Provide operational support to the Operations Management team
  • o    Design, execute and analyse coding and data analysis performance optimisation initiatives
  • o    Provide technical expertise, support, and oversight to team members and accounts within Insights
  • o    Improve platform and system knowledge and support migration and onboarding projects
  • o    Lead on large scale customer implementation and service re-scopes or expansions
  • o    Contribute to the delivery and development of the analysis training programme
  • o    Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement of departmental best practices by identifying operational efficiencies
  • o    Champion best practice operating procedures to standardise processes within the Insights department
  •  Cross Functional Collaborations
  • o    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Insights, Briefings, GBS, IT, and Vendors to drive projects forward
  • o    Funnel feedback to the coding and data analysis vendors to optimise our partnerships
  • o    Work closely with GBS and Insights to implement data governance activities
  • o    Oversee the department’s data analysis workflow and ensure the optimised performance of all the platforms
  • o    Manage alongside GBS the relationship with the vendors and escalate any issues with the relevant stakeholders
  • o    Support POC projects and ensure the smooth onboarding of new clients
  • o    Audit vendors’ invoices to ensure disciplined management of costs and the timely processing of payments

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of using IT systems and databases
  • Experience in training and managing people, and in giving constructive feedback
  • Demonstrated analytical ability, including the management of data
  • Good knowledge in handling objections and reducing conflict in difficult situations in a professional and polite manner
  • Have a strong interest in the effect that Media has on its audience
