About this Role 
As the Sr. Product Manager and the first hire in a new strategic area, you will lead strategic products that help Cision attract journalists and influencers to our platform to make them a successful and engaged in the Cision community.

We are looking for leaders who have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic technology driven product organization.  

Responsibilities

  • Identify critical problems that are preventing our users from accomplishing their goals or new opportunities to grow the business. Flesh problems and possible solutions thoroughly, solicit feedback and improve.  
  • Partner with the product leadership in shaping the strategy and define the annual roadmap that reflects that.  
  • Lead ideation of solutions, leveraging your team in design and engineering. 
  • Test solutions quickly with customers against key success metrics and scale working solutions globally. 
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership through written documents and participation in planning and execution groups. 
  • Lead project execution and ensure that the project delivery is to the levels of quality and in line with its target date, ensuring the overall integrity within the program. 
  • Report on product success through metrics, identifying opportunities or critical problems to be solved. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience. 
  • 6+ years working on technology-powered products as a product manager, with experience taking a product from 0 to 1 and from 1 to 100. 
  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative. 
  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship. 
  • Go-getter attitude and a growth mindset. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Analytical mindset with an ability to derive insights from quantitative and qualitative data and manage product performance metrics.  
  • Experience driving initiatives across cross-functional teams in a global environment.
