Five Ways to Use Article Reprints in your Marketing and Sales

So your pitching efforts finally paid off and a respected media outlet has published a nice feature article on your product or business!

Don’t stop there. Getting your business featured in an article can be very effective in gaining leads and driving sales. By reprinting that article, you can really maximize your exposure and strengthen your marketing and sales efforts.

Reprints are an easy way to educate your audience, reinforce your company message, and most importantly, add credibility as a third-party endorsement.  Don’t let them go to waste (especially as they can be costly). Whether you opt for an electronic or print reprint, here are five ways to use them.

Showcase your coverage: Place PDFs of the article on your website or blog. Frame reprints and hang them in your office.

Deepen relationships with clients, investors, and prospects: Link to your article reprint in newsletters and send via email as part of a direct mail campaign to customers and prospects. They also greatly enhance investor packets.

Attract new business: Share with prospects and include in sales presentations and new client packages. You can also use them as a point-of sale enhancement or as a follow-up to prospect inquiries.

Use them as training and educational aids: Reprints make a useful addition to education packets for workshops and conferences.

Strengthen marketing campaigns: Include reprints in your marketing materials. They are excellent for press kits, products promotions, direct mail campaigns and trade show handouts.

Tip: Make sure to customize your article reprint. Include your logo and contact information, highlight key copy within the article and add a special marketing or sales message.
