How to Connect Your Google+ Page with Viralheat
Today Viralheat announced our support of Google+ for Viralheat accounts. Adding Google+ to our robust line up of account management options will allow users to better maintain their social media presence across the largest social platforms. Google+ now boasts 400 million registered users with 100 million of them considered active on the site. With this large community, Google+ has become an important platform for businesses and marketers.
With Viralheat, Google+ users connect their user profiles but track Google+ Business Pages. This allows community managers, social media strategists, and marketing departments to access and engage with their Google+ community from one convenient dashboard. Users can update statuses from the Viralheat publishing suite as well as manage posts and comments with the option to update and delete.
To add Google+ to the accounts section of Viralheat users will need to login into their Viralheat account and click on Accounts listed on the left-hand side. From there, Google+ will be listed under Select Platform. Click on Add Account and users will be greeted with a Google+ authorization screen. Choose to accept this connection and Viralheat will notify the user when complete.
Once the account is connected, under activities users can view public posts from their Google+ network as well as posts they have made to their profile. Engage with people and businesses by commenting on posts or email the posts to yourself or colleagues.
With Viralheat’s Publishing Suite, users can post to one or multiple Google+ accounts from one dashboard. Open the publishing suite by clicking on the orange button at the top right-hand corner, and select the Google+ accounts identified with the plus-sign icon. This feature also allows users to schedule a post, add an image, and shorten links.
