6 Ways Viralheat Just Got Better

We’ve been working hard to on new additions to Viralheat and we’re excited to roll them out to you. These six new features give users even more flexibility and customization options to help you meet all your social media goals. As an existing user of Viralheat, you will find these new options in your account today. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect!

1. Direct Messages and Personal Messages

Now in Viralheat you can view and engage with your Twitter Direct Messages and Facebook Personal Messages directly from the dashboard. Find your Direct Messages and Personal Message under the Messages tab on the left hand navigation.

2. Sentiment Training

Viralheat categorizes the sentiment of Tweets and Facebook posts as positive, negative, or neutral. While the tool is very accurate there are times when you may want to change the categorization. This option is now available with sentiment training; train the tool to change the categorization and help Viralheat improve sentiment accuracy.

3. URL Shortening*

URL Shortening isn’t necessarily new to Viralheat but you now have two options on shorteners: bit.ly and vrl.ht. To switch between shortening tools, visit settings–>personal settings–>URL Shortening.

4. Upload Your Own Thumbnail

When uploading a link or image to Viralheat, the tool will pull in a thumbnail image from the source. But now you also have an option to add your own thumbnail instead of using one from the source. Just another way Viralheat let’s you customize your social experience.

5. Publishing Templates*

The new publishing templates give Viralheat users the option to create and save templates for future use. This can help social media and community managers save time if they typically respond to their community in a similar fashion. For example, did someone just retweet you? You may want to create a template thanking that person for the retweet. If this is an action you do regularly, you can save this as a template to use again.

6. Sentiment for accounts

Sentiment for accounts is here! See sentiment for posts coming from your accounts on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and LinkedIn.
