Celebrities dine and tweet over Thanksgiving
As we were all feasting on turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, pecan pie and many other goodies with friends and family, celebrities went to Twitter to celebrate Thanksgiving 2013. Many discussed holiday plans while others shared things they are grateful for and well-wishes to their fans.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rob Lowe. Lady Gaga, Carrie Underwood, Kirsty Alley and Bill Clinton had very heartfelt messages sharing what they were thankful for – including friends, family, fans and good fortune.
Justin Bieber had a very humble tweet from down under. His message was retweeted over 69 thousand times. Amazing! Singers Mary J. Blige and Shania Twain also reached out to fans. Jerry Seinfeld shared a photo of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as he was enjoying his coffee. Looks like he had a bird’s eye view and avoided the cold and crowds.
Some celebrities delighted followers with funny messages. Josh Duhamel shared a very cute family photo of his loved ones in Village People garb and wished everyone a great “my pants don’t fit day!” Jimmy Fallon was his usual funny self as he tweeted about the turkey holiday being the busy season for sweatpants manufacturers. What else would you wear after hours of eating and football watching? Not too be outdone, Ellen DeGeneres said she was in line at Blockbuster and wondered why there was no line. Ellen – try Netflix! Conan O’Brien discussed the mixing of Thanksgiving and Hanukkah, and Rebel Wilson shared a potential turkey day pickup line. Love her!
All in all, it is always fun to see how celebrities celebrate this beloved holiday. Now we need to tune in on New Year’s so see who accidentally drinks and tweets. Should be interesting…
