Changes at New York Times Metro Desk

Several changes have taken place at The New York Timesmetro desk. Elizabeth Harris has moved back to metro to cover K-12 education. She had been on the retail beat for the business desk since November 2013. Additionally, City Hall reporter Kate Taylor has moved to the K-12 education beat. Also, education reporter Al Baker is now covering local news in Queens, while reporter Kia Gregory now covers Manhattan, a newly created beat. She previously covered environment and other local news. Lastly, transportation reporter Matt Flegenheimer has switched to City Hall coverage.
