NYT Nabs Katie Rosman From WSJ

Katie Rosman will join The New York Times’ Styles desk in late July to serve as staff editor and columnist. She will replace Alexandra Jacobs, who was promoted to fashion critic and features writer earlier this year. Rosman most recently worked for The Wall Street Journal as a reporter since August 2004, as of late focusing on the intersection of technology and everyday life; a ‘digital lifestyle’ beat she will continue to cover at the NYT. This move accompanies NYT columnist Nick Bilton’s recent move from the tech desk to Styles; he will also cover technology’s influence on society and culture from Los Angeles. Check out lifestyle-specific updates from NYT Styles by following the Twitter handle devoted to this coverage.
