Staff Shuffle at Bloomberg Washington

Bloomberg News‘ Washington bureau announced a lay-off of staffers. The following people are no longer with the outlet: U.S. government news deputy managing editor Mark Silva; politics reporter Jonathan Salant; Federal Reserve editor James Tyson; retail reporter Cotten Timberlake; Bloomberg Television Washington bureau chief Ellen Uchimiya; Bloomberg TV producer Julie Slattery; Political Capital  with Al Hunt producer Niharika Acharya; Bloomberg TV assignment editor Colleen Wordock; editor Tony Gnoffo; legal editor Fred Strasser; Political Capital with Al Hunt producer Ryan Kerr; Bloomberg TV production coordinator Kate Macedo; Bloomberg TV control/production tech Todd Moday; and Bloomberg TV operations team lead Lori Jennings. Lastly, Stephanie Staughton has been named team leader responsible for coordinating Bloomberg’s Washington coverage between Bloomberg News, Bloomberg Government and other Bloomberg media.
