John Barron Promoted at Tribune Content Agency
John Barron has been promoted to editor and general manager of Tribune Content Agency (which will rebrand as Tribune News Service next week). He replaces James Pinnick, who has joined Cision as VP of licensing and content acquisition. Barron joined the news service as chief content officer in October 2013, and before that was the publisher, general manager and executive editor for the Chicago Sun-Times.
